3I306E Tunnel Diode Transmitter
STD3I306E Tunnel Diode Transmitter

Description
This is a clone of my GE tunnel diode transmitter but using the far more common 3I306E tunnel diode. The resistor values have been adjusted to work from a standard AA alkaline cell (instead of mercury cell.) Durring the calculations not all values were given by the datasheet so I had to make some educated guesses... they may need adjustment, try lowing R1. Will report back when I build with actual values. zthe enclosure I used is the Pomona Electronics 3606.
The output power of this transmitter is low but please check local laws and regulations before operating such a transmitter in your area, the author/uploader cannot be held responsible for unlawful use of the project.
