STD GE Tunnel Diode Transmitter

This is a recreation of the Tunnel Diode FM Transmitter from the GE Transistor Manual. The resistor values have been adjusted to work from a standard AA alkaline cell (instead of mercury cell.) Range and clarity are pretty good, the enclosure I used is the Pomona Electronics 3606. The only values that are really critical are the bias setting resistors. I recommend using the headphone jack INSTEAD of the microphone circuit, it works nicely for broadcasting music to a nearby FM radio.
The output power of this transmitter is low but please check local laws and regulations before operating such a transmitter in your area, the author/uploader cannot be held responsible for unlawful use of the project.
