Description
The circuit connects an ESP microcontroller to an RS485 transceiver, enabling serial communication over long distances. The ESP microcontroller's TX (transmit) pin is connected to the TX pin of the RS485 transceiver. In this case, the communication will be unidirectional, allowing the ESP microcontroller to transmit data to the RS485 bus via the transceiver. Pull-up and pull-down resistors are included for signal stability, along with biasing resistors to maintain the bus in a known state. Termination resistors may be added at the ends of the RS485 bus for impedance matching. This setup allows the ESP microcontroller to transmit and receive data on the RS485 bus using the transceiver's differential signaling capability.
