A2e_80Col_RGB_SMT_V1.1

This is a new RGB (SCART) card for the venerable Apple 2e computers.

It connects to the AUX port and in order not to loose functionality also includes a 64kB memory expansion and enables the 80 columns display mode.

The schematic for the memory expansion side is similar to all memory expansion from the early days.

The RGB decoding part is using only standard logic components as it woudl have been done 40 years ago.

This make this design simple and very easy to build without any special tools to program complex devices.

My philosophy is also to avoid putting devices having 100 or 1000x the horsepower of the original computer to provide improvements.
