Description
Soft starter used to save plastic gears of modern cheap tools by applying less initial force. Angle grinder, Miter saw and other funny jumping during power on universal motor equipment will be happy. Features: * ZC detectors to syncronize TRIAC timings and detect power-on switch status on tool * TRIAC to soft start motor from 30% to 100% power * NOTE: Do not use smart tools with speed control in handle or other electronics * NOTE: Do not apply load to motor before relay latching to prevent vaporizing your coils * NOTE: Too frequent start-stops will heat your coils too * Relay to feed full mains power to motor after dimming completed * Current sensor to check power off by tool's switch and detect overcurrent condition * External buttons for soft start/soft stop * PCB designed to work with dangerous 230V/50Hz * NOTE: If you already ordered this PCB then put it to junkbox upon delivery * NOTE: Have fun!
