Description

Description

Create a stackable disk io daughterboard for SC126 - Mechanically Compatible with JM002 stacked on the SC126 v1.0 Brings out the IDE-44 pin connector. Also provides an additional RC80 bus header connector and Floppy connector. Most IDE DOM modules will NOT work with the IDE-44 pin connector due to mirroring of pins on DOM. ![IDE_44_pin_pinouts.gif](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/iotoU2tzkgaaUam78q6xyva3M7dvRl4DXS6gKcj6.gif) Development Status Tracker- - 09/13/2020 UNDER DEVELOPMENT - 09/13/2020 ROUTING COMPLETE - 09/13/2020 NETS CHECKED - 09/13/2020 SILK LAYERS CHECKED - 09/13/2020 READY FOR ORDER 1ST PROTOTYPES - 09/24/2020 BOARD BUILT and TESTED w/JM004-3 Elevated Dual IDE 2.5" 90 Degree Riser V1.0 and High Nibble VT132 Card in RC80 Expansion SLOT - 09/24/2020 BOARD READY FOR USE The following is an image of the prototype 3D printed bench and 2.5" drive supports - not final in some dimensions. Dual Drive + Floppy configuration works well with RomWBW 3.1.1 Pre21. EXTERNAL POWER must be directly applied to the Floppy Drive as well as the rear power connector of the JM004-3 Elevated Dual IDE riser. Otherwise, the SC126 will be unstable during boot, IDE drives may not spin up, and other issues will be experienced. The in-rush power consumption is ~2A for my dirves. The Thingiverse 3D printed drive bench (finalized) and 2nd Drive Holder (not finalized) designs will be linked here soon. The 2nd Drive Holder is not final in its dimensions. Note that the JM004-3 Elevated Dual IDE 2.5" 90 Degree Riser V1.0 (and V2.0) requires a jumper to be placed on the 2nd drive (SLAVE - Device 1 Jumper) - no cable select equivalent is provided by the riser. The Master drive does not need any jumpers - Device 0 is default. ![JM006 V1.0.jpg](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/B8wXbMAhPLWCxqfuse4lObFMmsmjvVxjW5Lvnjbq.jpeg) ![JM006 V1.0and VT132.jpg](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/juKPWLD6hzIQvpCtM7JvvOGRC7a2YnIeiYPKPmVw.jpeg)
