A Vienna Rectifier is a 3 phase power factor corrected fectifier. It uses a 6-pulse rectifier and 6 MOSFETs to rectify and boost the input 3 phase voltage. This is an open loop circuit.
The 3 pairs of switches are operated in an interleaved manner and draw current throughout the cycle of the input voltage, which results in the average current drawn being nearly sinusoidal in nature.
