2.Introduction

Using Raspberry Pi PCIO2040 as the main control, the servo controls the trash can lid, VL53L0X as the distance sensor, and DY-SV17F as the voice broadcasting fully automatic food feeder (actually it is similar to a smart trash can lid)

3.Circuit

The main control is PICO2040.

The TXRX resistor is not attached here.

IIc plus pull.

Others are some conventional standardized circuits, no more details.

 

4.Modeling

Draw using SW.

Place the PCB on the back.

The steering gear is on the left.

Distance sensor is located at the front.

Due to the chamfering inside, the depth of the edge of the trash can may not be good enough, causing it to shift.

Therefore, it is recommended to lengthen the depth of this side.

Just buy a ready-made trash can barrel.

Production requirements:

Digital printing self-adhesive, 150*130mm, coated paper, single-sided bright film.

If possible, the following die-cutting lines can be made.

It is made as follows. There is a die-cut line so you don’t need to cut the edges. You only need to cut the mouth.

 

6.Code

Using the Arduino platform.

First install the arduino development environment of PICO2040.

The code is modified from the demo of Adafruit_VL53L0X.

The range sensor has sampling jitter, so a variety of filtering algorithms are given here. Adding filtering may cause the steering gear to not follow the hand, please also note.

These arrays are commands for serial communication with DY-SV17F.

For the special usage of pico2040, you need to declare the port and baud rate of serial port 1 and serial port 2 in advance. GPIO8 GPIO9 is used here, so there are NCs in the circuit diagram that are not used before.

Detect the status of the toggle switch to determine whether it is automatic mode or normally open mode.
