Description
🛠️ I’m currently developing a joystick module based on a Hall effect sensor 🎮.
Unlike traditional potentiometer-based joysticks, Hall effect joysticks operate without mechanical contact, offering several key advantages:
✅ Greater long-term accuracy
✅ No mechanical wear, resulting in a significantly longer lifespan
✅ Better resistance to vibration and dust
✅ Smoother and cleaner analog signal output
While potentiometer joysticks are affordable and widely used, they tend to suffer from:
-
Gradual mechanical wear
-
Decreasing accuracy over time
-
Higher sensitivity to external factors (dust, moisture, etc.)
🚁 This module will directly enhance the precision and reliability of my drone’s control system.
An example code for one module is available in the description.
🎥 And a presentation video will be released soon on my channel for the drone controller, Nayel KHOUATRA — stay tuned!
