Description
Step into the spirit of Halloween with the Spooky Pumpkin PCB, a vibrant fusion of art and electronics that brings a classic jack-o’-lantern to life!
This project isn’t just another glowing pumpkin — it’s an animated, expressive PCB creature with LCD eyes that blink, stare, and follow you, while its mouth glows in eerie shades of orange powered by addressable RGB LEDs.
Designed around the ESP32-S3, this compact board combines two round GC9A01 TFT displays as eyes and a ring of WS2812B LEDs for the mouth. The custom silkscreen art captures the pumpkin’s carved details and Halloween motifs in bright orange and black, turning the board itself into a decorative masterpiece.
When powered on, the pumpkin awakens — its eyes dart around, blink at random, and glow mischievously in sync with the mouth lights. Add a PIR motion sensor, and it suddenly comes alive whenever someone walks by!
Whether hung on a wall, displayed on your desk, or worn as a glowing badge, the Spooky Pumpkin PCB blends creative design, colorful PCB art, and interactive animation into one unforgettable Halloween build.
