Description
This project implements a compact, efficient 5V power supply based on the TPS63060 buck-boost converter. It is designed to operate from a wide input voltage range of 3.3 V to 12 V, making it suitable for battery-powered and USB-based systems. The circuit provides a stable 5 V output with a maximum output current of approximately 800 mA.
Key features of the design include:
- Precision voltage regulation using a resistor divider to set the feedback voltage.
- Snubber circuit to suppress switching noise and improve EMC performance.
- Input protection, including a resettable fuse and Schottky diode to guard against reverse polarity and overcurrent.
- Robust filtering, with bulk and high-frequency bypass capacitors to ensure low-noise power output.
- Standard 3-pin connectors (X1, X2) to distribute the regulated 5V to external modules or devices.
This circuit is ideal for embedded systems, sensors, and other 5V devices requiring a reliable power rail from varying input sources.
