Description
Adapter for 24pin and 34pin Waveshare epaper/e-ink to SPI
Controlling E-paper displays involves connecting the display to a microcontroller (e.g., Arduino, ESP32) using communication protocols like SPI or I2C. You can then use libraries like GxEPD or Adafruit GFX to send data to the screen, displaying text, images, or graphics. E-paper displays are energy-efficient, requiring power only when updating the screen, so you should use full or partial refresh methods to optimize power consumption. The display can be updated to show dynamic content like time or weather, and advanced features like touch interfaces can also be implemented in some models.
