Description
Features:
TP4056 Li-Ion charging IC is charging 18650 battery. Charging current is set at 300mA but can be increased up to 1A.
5V output regulator is based on TPS63070 buck/boost regulator. Output is drawn straight from the Micro B input connector while battery is charging and the input cable is connected. The output regulator starts drawing battery power once the input cable is disconnected.
MAX17048 I2C battery gauge monitor is included so that this information can be fed to MCU.
3.3V LDO (AMS1117-3.3) is included to provide power to peripherals or MCU. This 3.3V rail is included to the I2C connector as well as to 6-pin 2.0mm JST right angle connector.
Battery charging and power path from the battery to 5V regulator output can be enabled locally or set to "remote" state where a seperate MCU board can be set to control these functionalities. These control signals are included to X1 connector.
