The programmer supports of Atmel 8-bit AVR microcontrollers with ISP, PDI or TPI interfaces. Using the Microchip studio software, designers can program AVR devices using the ISP Interface, tinyAVR devices using the TPI interface, and AVR XMEGA devices using the PDI Interface. The programmer also works with AVRDUDE.
