GROUP 8- PWM Signal Generator

A PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Signal Generator circuit designed to produce adjustable duty cycle square waves. This circuit is particularly useful for applications requiring variable frequency signals, such as motor control, LED dimming, and signal testing.

The circuit design involves configuring the 555 timer in astable mode, where it continuously oscillates between high and low states, generating a square wave. The frequency and duty cycle of this wave are determined by the resistor and capacitor values. A potentiometer is incorporated to allow real-time adjustment of the duty cycle. The PCB layout ensures minimal trace lengths for high-frequency signals, proper grounding to reduce noise, and adequate spacing to prevent short circuits. Thermal management is also considered to prevent overheating of components.
