Description

An ESP8266-based gadget with 2xAA NiMH batteries charged by a solar panel, and sockets for I2C and UART ports, intended to be used with the AM2320 temperature / humidity sensor, an I2C OLED display, HC-05 Bluetooth module and a HC-12 433 MHz low bandwidth module. Contains 4x WS2812 RGB LEDs, and a single button.

 

In its basic form, it's a solar-powered ESP8266 gadget with WS2812 RGB LEDs. A large number of sensors and other kinds of modules can optionally be added to the board.

 

It can be powered with:

  • 2X AA batteries, rechargable or non-rechargable
  • A solar panel of 4V-6V (which can change the batteries)
  • Micro USB (which can chanrge the batteries)
  • A DC005 jack, 5V only, which can chanrge the batteries

 

Note: JP1 is the on-off switch.
