PRO Taishan 3.1-inch screen expansion board - Integrated power, audio, serial, RTC
Mode:
Taishan Pi 3.1-inch mipi screen expansion board, connected to the bottom contact of Taishan Pi through pogopin, realizes PD power supply, serial port, RTC, speaker, microphone functions.
The serial port chip uses CH343, which can be regarded as the technological innovation of the CH340 chip, which supports the highest 6Mbps serial port baud rate, and is generally driver-free (driver download: https://www.wch.cn/products/CH343.html).
It is connected to Taishan Pi through a 6-pin co-directional 0.5mm pitch and a 31-pin co-directional 0.3mm pitch FFC/FPC flexible cable.
The RTC battery uses a 1.25-seat connection, please purchase a wired BIOS battery, pay attention to the line sequence!
The speaker uses a 1.25-seat connection, YZ-2520 side sound cavity speaker.
The screen uses a large 3.1-inch MIPI screen, which has been turned on MIPI and CST128-A touch, in order to prevent the backlight from being overloaded, pay attention to the brightness.
Be sure to pay attention to the touch chip shipped by Taobao manufacturers is CST128-A, and the data is FT5316, it is recommended to refer to the driver provided in this article.
Through comparison, it was found that there are two firmware firmware for the touch chip shipped by Taobao manufacturers, one with an I2C address of 0x48 (estimated to be the original CST firmware), and the other with an I2C address of 0x38.
It is recommended to try to use the 0x38 to drive the touch first, and if it cannot be used, you can 0x48 use i2cdetect -y 1 to determine the I2C address under Linux.
