PRO "Potato Thunder Bomb" - Bidirectional fast charge based on Zhirong SW7201
Mode:
SW7201 is a high-efficiency synchronous 4-tube bidirectional buck-boost charge/discharge controller, support 1-4 batteries charge and discharge management, support I2C control, can provide a maximum power output of 100W, this project uses SW7201 as a lithium battery management chip, uses HSUB238 PD decoy chip to fast charge lithium battery, but also can output 20V5A/100W energy, can charge notebooks, mobile phones and other electronic products when going out.
SW7201 chip introduction:
High-efficiency buck-boost switch charging:
➢ Seamless switching between boost and buck.
Reverse buck-boost discharge:
➢Support 100W output power.
➢Support 3V-22V output voltage.
➢FB/I2C voltage regulation mode can be flexibly selected.
➢Support I2C programming to control output current limiting.
➢PFM/PWM mode automatically switches with load size.
The chip has a built-in 12-bit ADC.
The battery side uses an XT60 model airplane interface and a DC005 interface, and the reserved output pad can be connected to other interfaces.
1~4 lithium batteries can be selected by configuring the BSSTT terminal resistance of the chip; The inductor can be selected as 1~4.7uH high-power inductor, and the resistance capacitance parameters corresponding to different inductors COMP are different.
At present, four 21700mAh 21700 lithium batteries of DMC are used as the battery end, and the charge and discharge rates can meet the requirements.
