Project Description
Thank you for your comments and forwards. This AR project is expected to achieve mass production this year, and those who get the hardware in advance can modify the open-source code to achieve customized functions.
Compared with the previous 1st generation of LittleAR, this version of the main project removes unpopular features and focuses on memorizing words and navigation functions. The weight has been reduced from 26.8g to 20.4g, basically realizing [non-inductive wearing] [ultra-long standby]
Parallel Line Project: There will also be an amazing innovation: headphone AR! Why should AR be stuck in glasses? Why can't it be made into the monocular lens form in "Dragon Ball"? So here it comes:
The function will be biased towards the [Earphone] [Listen to Song] app, with a blink sensor (infrared reflection) to display the effect such as the video in the accessory.
Open-source protocol
Description of the open source agreement.
Any individual is free to develop and renovate.
Project-related features
(Something to be updated)
Feature 1: Ultra-low power consumption: Compared with the previous generation, it can support 10 hours of uninterrupted use for a long time. The key functions are more abundant, short press to wake up and interact; Press and hold to power off.
Feature 2: iOS support: The iOS side and the Android side will be officially launched in the app market around October.
Feature 3 Navigation: Compared with the previous generation with only 3 arrows, it integrates more complex navigation direction arrows, and uses a hexadecimal communication protocol to match the navigation ability, and the protocol structure is as follows:
Project properties
This project is the first public and is my original project. The project has not won an award in another competition.
Project progress
The overall progress of the project, the application for the cost of project consumables is required!
At present, the circuit board verification is halfway completed, and there are still some problems in wireless communication.
The shell has been designed and has not yet been sampled and tested.
The optical part follows the previous generation project, and only the lightweight upgrade is made.
Design Principles
Tip: A description of the design principles of this project.
The white box (top) represents the screen;
The white box (bottom) represents the motherboard;
The spare part is the battery.
The green line represents the optical path. AR is only 10mm away from the eye, and the eye's closest focusing distance is more than 50mm. In order to be able to image at such a close distance, the light must first be refracted by a freeform surface (similar to the pancake and Fresnel in VR) and then passed through a transflective and semi-reflective coating before it can be focused at close range.
Software Description
Tip: The software can be nested using code blocks, and there is no need to explain all the software parts, only the important parts.
