Project Brief Introduction

Hardware: a color screen portable soldering iron designed by AIR32F103CCT6 single-chip microcomputer, the protocol chip uses a FS312HC (a little difficult to buy) voltage decoy chip, and supports PD and QC power input; Support conventional 18W, 12V/1.5A and above power bank power supply; The soldering core uses the conventional T12 soldering core, which is highly compatible; SW200D vibrating switch is used to achieve sleep detection (why not use a gyroscope, the board can't be stuffed).

A new version has been released (replacing the original 0402 package and some transistors with 0603 packages and larger transistor packages, and modifying the decoy chip to CH224K)

Color screen Mini-T12 [0603 package reset version]

Version 0402 has been released:

2024.03.10 Update:

The new version of the software package has been added to the attachment!!

Fixed some bugs left over from the early days.
(1) Fixed the issue that when the displayed voltage is too low, the voltage returns to the normal value and the prompt box remains.
(2) Optimize the PID parameters, reduce the temperature overshoot, and separate the domestic PID parameters from the imported PID parameters.
(3) Add FreeRTOS to optimize system response.
(4) Optimized memory allocation, reallocated memory addresses such as images, logos, and icons.
(5) Fix buzzer volume value: volume 0-12, volume maximum at 12.
(6) Fix a vicious bug: when the system shuts down and prompts the sound, press the button, it will completely crash, and the buzzer will beep for a long time. After updating, pressing the button will directly enter the standby state.
Of course, it also brings some updates, and this update is equivalent to a transitional version.
(1) Add color boot image function and color icon function. Use the Device Upgrade Assistant V1.0.5 or later, and use the Bootloader V1.10 or later.
(2) Add the original PID parameters, and divide two sets of soldering iron calibration values to the original parameters, two groups of domestic head and two groups of imported head.
(3) Support hot plugging of the soldering iron, (in the case of turning on the button heating), after pulling out the soldering iron tip, it will be disconnected for heating, and the key needs to be re-pressed for heating after replugging.

2023.10.11 Update:

Firmware upgrade to V1.0.8-10-11, upgrade part:

1. Optimized the situation that the key function is triggered at the same time when pressing the button to heat up (after the update, it prompts that when pressing any key for heating, pressing any button will no longer switch the working mode of the soldering iron or add or decrease the temperature value)

2. Added an under-voltage protection display interface, as shown in the figure below.

5Wk6dT3nxBV0teYSnurFBmJnqJbkuOZY73PNbNJn.png

3. Added sleep mode - automatic gear (this mode does not strictly require whether the soldering iron is up or down, as long as it is allowed to meet the time, it will start sleeping).

4. Added BOE screen driver, which can be used with 0917 and above bootloaders.

5. Optimized the bug that switching screen direction fails.

The shell model version has been updated to V4.54, changing the buttons to split and optimizing the feel of the buttons.

Software:

The program is divided into two sets of programs: Bootloader and firmware:

Bootloader can be used with the host computer to update the LOGO and firmware.

The firmware body can be set and heated from room temperature to 450 degrees Celsius (Note: After the firmware is burned, you need to contact us to get the activation code, two for each person, to prevent it from being taken to commercial use);

It supports stepping to adjust the temperature value (room temperature -450 degrees) or using the preset channel to adjust the temperature value (200-250-300-350-400) five channels.

It supports the switching of three main menu display modes, including chart mode, professional mode, and minimalist mode, and the three display modes have their own style characteristics.

It supports monochrome display or color display, and there is also a dazzling mode that supports RGB automatic switching (the main thing about light pollution is a bells and whistles).

Schematic design

The schematic diagram is designed by Cadence17.4, which has been converted to LC EDA Professional edition.

PCB design

The PCB is designed with Allegro 17.4, and the subsequent Rietron EDA version will be updated and uploaded (the Rietron EDA version is being verified).

The size of the plate frame is 10cm*1.4cm, and the thickness of the board is 1.6mm.

The Type-C port is used as the power supply.

The three side-tapping buttons are placed close to the edge of the board.

The recess in the frame is used to prevent the T12 soldering core.

Double-sided layout, most of the resistance and capacitance are in 0402 package (a bit difficult to solder, you need to be patient)

Project Summary

This is the first project completed by this team,This version still has some problems in the touch of the keys,The feel is hard,The shell buttons printed with nylon PA12 will feel a little better,But the price is also more expensive,Nearly 30a,The follow-up will continue to be optimized.

We will follow up to bring more open source designs, thank you for your attention and suggestions.
