Description

Arduino based control board to rotate American Flyer Beacon using a small stepper motor. This requires modification to the original American Flyer beacon. The original lamp socket and center post is removed. A stepper motor is mounted in the bottom and turns a shaft which is connected to the beacon top. I also made a collar with 20 surface mount LED's to replace the original bulb. A YouTube video of it in operation can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJTCgxkEQyU
