I have a design that is making use of the modules function.

I created the SCH module, then the PCB module as per the guide.

I'm now working in a new project file. I have placed the modules in the schematic using the A, B, C etc naming and then created the PCB layout using the same module references. All is good so far, and is working:

Now I have gone back to the project schematic and added a couple of capacitors. When I use the 'update PCB' function, it replaces all the components and bunches them in the corner. The traces and silkscreen layer are left alone.

System wants to scrap all the module components:

I have tried to reset the component ID in both the SCH and the PCB, but this did not work.

Why do I have to place all the modules again after making a schematic change?
