I am trying to place a TL431 sot23, and despite significant stock held to buy , and the part meeting its sot 23 status , the part then does not meet standardization for the schematic editor, and then creates havoc if a pcb is then proceeded with. Needless to say it creates design rule error. This wastes so much time and makes the part unattractive to purchase. The image shows more than 88,000 available, yet few will sell because they cannot be placed.    

What needs to occur is no parts should be available to place into a schematic , if they do not meet standardization, thereby clarifying only parts that can. Or clarifying that the standardization aspect is relaxed to make only parts that can be placed then always matching the supplier part.
