Hello.

I am going to order some PCBs from JLCPCB and I am wondering how to make a castellated hole inside a PCB.

Can I simply place a multi-layer pad and cover half of it with a board cut-out like in the picture below?

Or is there some special production process involved?

Edit: I am talking about a half-plated hole INSIDE the PCB, not along the outer edge.
