Hi, Can anyone tell me please:

  1. What License applies to footprints, symbols and 3D models in the EasyEDA library?
  2. Can I legitimately re-share EasyEDA library components in a public github/gitlab opensource project repository?
  3. And if yes, what License should I state applies to such parts? (The rest of my project might be MIT or Apache or Creative Commons for example)?

I'm making some open source hardware, nothing complicated, and I would include an export of my EasyEDA design in github so other people can hack on it.

It's also possible I might like to sometimes use KiCAD and download a few EasyEDA specialist components because then they will be most correct for purchasing from LCSC and having JLCPCB fabricate PCBs and assembly.

I know some components originally came from the KiCAD libraries. Others from EasyEDA users. Maybe some from EasyEDA staff?

Or do I need to redraw every component myself to have clarity of licensing?

I'm totally fine with offering full attribution and including the correct License file - but I don't see any stated policy on the EasyEDA website.

What I don't want is to do anything that is against copyright regulations and have to rework my project later :)

Many thanks, Tim
