Hello I need some clarification regarding these type of Clamp type USB connectors, These are meant to be inserted on the side of 0.8mm thick board.

0.8mm board only supports Standard assembly as of June 2025.

1) Is top side assembly enough, or should I use both sides assembly. 

I wanted to clarify this because these connectors have pins on both side, but can hold on the board with only one side assembly.

2) One more thing to clarify, Just wanted to know how these are inserted on the board. Is it a manual work or SMT machines can handle this
