To keep copper area out of certain areas, create another copper area without a name and make sure it is on top of the nets you want to not fill in copper area manager.

Hi, Is there a reliable way to exclude the same nets from being merged with the copper area or certain areas?

Currently, I put a placeholder layer then set it to document after the copper fill.

The GND trace needs to be seperated to midigate interference with the switching regulators.

Using a placeholder trace then setting it to document, the header doesn't need a copper area.
