I see some mention of creating a 1mm round copper area masked for no solder paste. Is that sufficient??? It would seem that JLCPCB needs to know that's a fiducial and not just a round copper area to properly etch it through the stencil.

I've seen other suggestions to find an existing footprint for a fiducial but my searches have not turned up anything yet.
