Is there a way to export a single component as step file?

Currently whenever i want to check if specific component will fit space requirements i create project, place component, export as step, import into cad, remove pcb, check placement/fit with cad program (fusion 360) which is kinda annoying and time consuming.

Most notably big components which i am not necessairly want to attach to PCB in "normal" way. For example mounting big capacitors sideways because they are too long. Big tht mosfets, displays, connectors etc. Example
