Description
This adapter uses the monitor cable available from Frame.work that terminates in a 40-pin FPC I-PEX style connector and converts it to 30-pin standard FPC. Standard FPC to I-PEX style eDP 30-pin cables are readily available from the linkes of AliExpress.
To note: although eDP is a VESA standard it is by no means a requirement for manufacturers to follow it and many do not. It is my understanding that the screen I adapted this for follows the VESA standard, but for reference here is the pinout of the INPUT for the screen I used (FW list the pinout for the laptop side connector on their git). You will need to verify your screen has the same pins/voltages on the lanes used.
