Description

High density ARGB LED strip.  Must be powered with 5V! Data line can be controlled by a 3.3V logic microcontroller (Espressif, STM, Atmel, Nordic, etc...)

The tiny 2mm RGB LED's are just as power hungry as 20mm LED's. 5V power supply required, does not work with 3.3V power (only red illuminates at 3.3V)  It's a densly packed 5" stick of WS2812C-2020 LED's from Worldsemi. The effects are quite beautiful and blindingly bright. I'm running them from an Adafruit Feather RP2040 microcontroller.

50 LED's is about the limit for USB power, chaining 2 together requires an external 5V 3A wall wart (with barrel jack adapter)!
