A tribute to one of the most beloved sagas ever in collaboration with one of the most beloved youtubers ever, Marco Valleggi of MVVBLOG, today I show you how you can build a replica of the beloved Back to the Future clock. It is not a faithful replica, but it is a Survival Hacking-style replica that will serve to defeat the new frontiers of evil that in the future, will reduce all youtubers into sponsor machines to be smacked around, and thanks to Marco, an attempt will be made to fix this terrifying injustice. I know very well that recovering alphanumeric displays is a big mess, I myself really lost so many hours searching, and with great effort I managed to get them from LuckyLight. Aware that this is the most complicated item to find, in order to give you the maximum support, I point you to all the possible equivalents that I managed to identify, maybe it can be of help to someone.
The displays are 16-segment 0.5”, with common cathode and the PIN of the common is 18.
The height of the display is 25mm and the width is 16mm. The height of the digit is 12.7mm.

If you have problems with brightness fluctuation of the various segments, insert a 470uF capacitor in parallel with the 2 power PINs of the HT16K33 driver modules on the Bottom side so that it results between the Display module PCB and the driver PCB.
