Mode:
The board responsible for the data transfer from the arduino to all 192 Cathode connections of the cube, handled by DM13A shift Registers. These shift registers are especially designed for driving LEDs so a current limiting resistor pin is built into the chip. 12 chips are used, 4 chips per channel with a Red, Green and Blue channel. Decoupling Capacitors are also used to ensure signal integrity of the shift registers.
