Description
A headphone amplifier using a single operational amplifier, named in memory of Chu Moy, whose published design in this style introduced many people to DIY.
The design fits into the classic Altoids mint tin, and features a power supply using an external AC "wall wart", and some basic features, including slow-on/fast-off, gain switching, and an on/off button. It is intended as a learning project, and will support any DIP8 dual operational amplifier with the standard pinout. Due to the size constraints of the mint tin, the switches are internal vertical switches.
The PCB footprints used are for the through-hole parts used in the related C.Moy with chassis project - the BOM items have been corrected to panel mount equivalents which will require wiring. Note that two RCA jacks must be purchased, as they are individual.
