Description

This project involves designing a variable DC power supply capable of converting a 230 V AC input into an adjustable 1–30 V DC output. The system uses a step-down transformer to reduce the AC voltage, followed by a GBJ1504 bridge rectifier to convert AC to DC. A 1000 µF filter capacitor smooths the rectified signal, and the LM317 adjustable regulator provides precise voltage control. Supporting components such as resistors, capacitors, and a protection diode ensure stable regulation and safe operation. The circuit is designed and simulated in EasyEDA, with a completed PCB layout for fabrication and testing.
