The KY-040 Rotary Encoder module is part of the “37 In 1 Sensor Module Board Set Kit for Arduino.” This module, equipped with a rotary encoder, provides digital data—based on the 2-bit Gray code—representing the rotation in degrees and therefore the angular position of its shaft.
