Przetwornica powinna posiadać wydajny radiator chłodzący układ oraz potencjometr do wygodnej regulacji napięcia wyjściowego.
Jest to przetwornica step-down więc napięcie wejściowe zawsze musi być wyższe niż wyjściowe jakie chcemy uzyskać.
