STD Battery Powered Tube Amp

Inspired by Usagi Electric's 48v Tube Amp. To acheive usable volume/quality/utility, I'm driving the tubes with a pair of NK01B Nixie drivers (heavily filtered). In addition to various discrete component changes, I added bypass caps on both preamp cathodes. Output xformers are Bogden T725 Audio Xformers from Amazon, using the green or blue taps. EXTREMELY LOUD with 8ohm speakers and full volume, no clipping. Comfortable listening at 50-60% volume. Freq response can be adjusted by adjusting interstage bypass values.
