The IV sets commercially available are not entirely automated. They are equipped to give the required amount of doses at a particular time but they have to be manually set. Hence, development and fabrication of an automatic IV fluid system that can be monitored from a distance is very necessary.
The benefit of such a system is that it would enable the physician to monitor the IV fluid system at his comfort.
