Std edition Accom Axial Teensy 3.5 interface
Profile:Repurposing an Accom Axial Control Panel Turning an obsolete video editor console into a mothership-sized keyboard + trackball + stream deck
License: GPL 3.0
See the project "Repurposing an Accom Axial Control Panel" at hackaday.
Back in the 1990s, the Accom Axial was an awesome video editing system, but things turned digital and non-linear, and Accom became obsolete and closed up shop. My plan is to convert this console to be useful in the context of a modern pc.
This project provides a PCB for interfacing a Teensy 3.5 with the stock ribbon cable for the keyboard, as well as a custom ribbon cable to drive the VFD section.
