Description

Basic Schematic of core GM counter module. I have created a circuit based on the schematic of the Velleman Geiger Müller Counter K2645 Kit.

The kit itself is no longer available. This PCB can be used to build an improved version of the Velleman Geiger Müller Counter.

Attachments:

a) Excel Spreadsheet (.xls file extension) of final version of BOM

b) Copy of the Velleman schematic & layout diagram (.jpg file extension)

c) Complete set of circuit modification files (MOD sequence.zip).

d) Specification diagram of the E-Z Hook XKM micro double gripper (.pdf file extension).

e) Helpfile (.rtf file extension).

The MOD sequence.zip archive is encrypted. If you require the access code, contact me by email: link.peters@hotmail.co.uk

The following is a link to an additional OSHWLab project: CMOS compatible output interface for Velleman K2645 Geiger Müller Counter.

This circuit normalizes the logic levels of the detector output and then interfaces the data with an LED indicator and Counter Module in addition to the pre-existing peizo beeper.
