USB Expansion

One day, I suddenly found that my computer’s USB interface was not enough. As an electronic person, how could I endure it? Just make a USB extender.

The schematic diagram is borrowed from the big guys on the open source platform, and the PCB is designed independently.

Let me tell you directly:

1. PCB routing: The signal lines need to be differential. Am I doing it too hastily? There is something wrong with the length of the crystal oscillator, which causes the U disk test rate to be unstable. However, the mouse and keyboard are still sufficient. You can change it when you redo it.

2. When welding, it is recommended to solder typeC first. This is the most difficult part of the entire board. It is easy to connect tin. After soldering, it is recommended to test for short circuit, or if you do not use typec, the principle is the same when using other interfaces.

3. After all components are soldered, it is recommended to short-circuit test VCC, GND, and resistors and capacitors. It is worth noting that the fuse is a path.

4. It is recommended to use a power bank when powering on for the first time. Power banks are equipped with short-circuit protection, and then connect to the computer.
