(This is the first PCB I've drawn as a newbie, so go easy on me 😂. Feel free to point out any suggestions or issues!)
F-07C is a mobile phone/UMPC launched by Fujitsu in the Japanese domestic market in 2011, running the Symbian + Windows 7 system.
The original docking station/base is not included with the device but needs to be purchased separately, so many users only have the standalone device. However, some experts on the internet have shared the pinout definition of the F-07C 30P interface, making it possible to create homemade adapters. However, all homemade adapters only have USB female ports, and it seems that no one has attempted to create an HDMI output. The HDMI and USB ports of the original docking station are not directly connected to the 30P pins of the phone but are routed through two chips: the BU16025 Buffer IC and the SMSC USB2514B USB HUB IC. Testing has shown that a USB mouse cannot be used without connecting the USB HUB, and HDMI can still output normally, although there are occasional minor instability issues (such as occasional minor tearing/flickering) (the new version with a built-in HUB has redesigned the HDMI circuit, significantly reducing interference. I also obtained the original docking station and found that even when playing Minesweeper, there is still occasional minor tearing 😂) , and future versions plan to include a USB HUB chip, eliminating the need for an external HUB .
For the other 30P male connectors, I used Apple connectors and cut one side for use. The original connectors are also available for sale but are extremely expensive; they are JAE's DD1 series connectors.
What changes are there compared to the previous version?
In addition to adding the SL2.1A USB HUB chip, the HDMI circuit has been redrawn, routed through the middle of the 30P interface, and pins 1, 8, and 30 of the 30P interface have been removed to facilitate better routing.
Where did you buy all your components?
Except for the 30P male connector, HUB chip, and capacitor crystal oscillator, I purchased all components from "Shenzhen Ruibochang Technology Co., Ltd." on 1688 and you can search for them on your own. The 30P male connector was purchased from "Imported Shock Absorber Mesh Collection" on Xianyu.
