STD EpEver Solar Monitor
Mode:
Monitor your EpEver Solar Charger via MQTT using this PCB and the following components:
- Wemos D1 mini
- MAX485
- RJ45 Female Connector
- 6K7 Resistor
- Jumpers (To enable wake up after sleep)
Flash the firmware from this repo. I also got all my information from to build this PCB:
https://github.com/glitterkitty/EpEverSolarMonitor
Adjust your setting and it should send all data over MQTT.
NodeRed receives the MQTT and routs the data to a InfluxDB database. Grafana reads the InflusDB and visualizes the data just beautifully :)
"Wake Up" jumper needs to be connected to be able to wake up drom deep sleep
"Debug Mode" Jumper to enable debug-mode. this sets the sleep duration to only 10 seconds
some datasheets list different pinouts for the RJ45 jack! swap A<->B if connection fails. Check voltage-level and -polarity before connecting!
