STD C264 CPU adapter

This is an 6510 CPU (commonly used in C64) adapter for C264 machines (C16/C116/Plus4), that use prone for failure 7501/8501 CPU's. Remember that this solution cripples I/O. Casette port will loose ability to auto-stop tape motor and IEC port controlling disk drives would not work until you patch the Kernal ROM (see attachments). Nevertheless turbo loaders that bypass Kernal routines will fail. Also, when soldering, use goldpin headers shorter than 7mm to fit whole device under the keyboard of wedge shaped models.
