Description
This is another VU-meter, but this time is using the SIEMENS UAA170 LED Drivers. The display is a DOT effect of 16 LEDs on each chanel. This is the stereo version of it. The supply voltage is up to 18V. You can change sensitivity from PR1 trimmer. In this form the input signal should be pretty high in order to light up the last red LED. If you want you can cange R9 (and R109) to a lower value for a higher sensitivity.
It has also photo sensitive LED on each channel in order to sense the ambient light and to change automatic the intensity of the display LEDs.
The UAA170 are obsolete, but you can still order from China some replicas that work just fine.
