Description

This project is based on an ESP32 module with additional components like a fuel gauge, TTL to RS-485 transceiver, and a GPS NEO-6M module. The project is designed to integrate power management, communication, and display systems for monitoring and controlling different hardware components. This can be used in applications that require battery-powered devices, serial communication, and location tracking.

The design of this system includes the following functionalities:

  • Power Supply & Management: It uses an IP5306 charger.
  • Fuel Gauge: The MAX17043 fuel gauge is used to monitor the battery’s state of charge (SOC).
  • RS-485 Communication: The MAX3485EESA+T provides a reliable, differential communication interface (RS-485) to integrate the system into industrial or long-range communication setups.
  • GPS Location Tracking: The NEO-6M GPS module provides GPS location data for the system.
  • User Interface: The design includes LED indicators for status (e.g., charging, full charge) and buttons for interaction (e.g., reset, power on/off).
