Description
QSO_Rx_TA7358p
Introducing the first concept revision of the QSO_Rx_TA7358p project — a compact homebrew HF receiver platform based around the classic TA7358P IC.
This project is also part of my ongoing EasyEDA PRO learning process, combining practical RF experimentation with PCB design, routing optimization, manufacturability, and low-cost PCB assembly testing.
Current features include:
-
TA7358P receiver core
-
Audio amplifier stage
-
PLL/I2C interface headers
-
Integrated LM3915 S-meter
-
DOT/BAR display selection
-
Compact single-board layout
-
Mostly basic SMT components for lower assembly cost
The project is still evolving through multiple PCB revisions, improving:
-
component placement,
-
routing cleanliness,
-
signal path optimization,
-
and overall reproducibility for homebrew builders.
Little by little, turning simple RF experiments into practical and reproducible DIY receiver platforms.
