Hi All,
EasyEDA Pro V3.2 was released on June 1, 2026. Please view the changelog at 【V3 Changelog - Pro EasyEDA】.
Important Notice
V3 features a completely new file format. After you open and save legacy projects in V3, project files will be upgraded automatically. These upgraded files cannot be opened with V2.2, since the two versions use incompatible file structures.
If you need to keep editing your files with V2.2, download the V2.2 client from 【Desktop Client Version | EasyEDA Pro User Guide】.
You can get the V3 installer at 【Download Center - EasyEDA】; the macOS version is coming soon.
Recommended Upgrade Procedure
V3 constitutes a major version upgrade, whose file format is incompatible with V2.
Before upgrading your web or desktop editor to V3, export all projects from V2.2 and store the copies locally. You may then upgrade to V3.2 and import the saved backup files into the new version.
Important Reminder: Please back up both full-online projects and offline local projects for migration.
Additional Tip: After local backup from V2 and upgrading to V3, open your projects in V3 to inspect data integrity.
- If all project data is intact: proceed with regular editing on V3;
- If any content goes missing: restore projects by reimporting your V2 backup files.
This pre-upgrade backup safeguards your source data and facilitates quick recovery in case of data loss.
