Description
This audio mute circuit is for LM3886 which can be controllerd by a microcontroller with open drain output(driving logic low) or a with simple mechanical switch. The purpose of this circuit is to maintain constant mute current across supply voltage variations. The circuit provides mute current of 2.5mA max into singe amplifier, but if two ICs(LM3886) are connected the mute current flows 1.2mA on each amplifier.
